The Jones County (A. P. Fatherree)
Career and Technical Education Center was established in 1969. The building was named in honor of Mr. A. P. Fatherree who was serving as state director of vocational education at that time. Jones County Vocational School was the fourth vocational school to be opened in Mississippi. It was built in the center of Jones County and serves students from South Jones High School, West Jones High School, and Northeast Jones High School.
