East Jones Elementary opened its doors for the first time in August of 1999. With state of the art technology, East Jones Elementary strives to prepare our students for a challenging and successful future.

The school serves grades K-6.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

Buildings: Automated Library/Media Center, Parent Center, Two Science Labs, Two 30 Station Computer Labs, Internet Accessibility in Each Classroom, Cafeteria, Outdoor Classroom, Multipurpose Building for  P. E., with classrooms for Art and Music, and a Stage

People: 2 principals, 41 certified personnel, 23 instructional assistants, 2 Instructional Curriculum Specialists, 1 Counselor, 2 P. E. Teachers,  2 Speech Therapists, 2 Computer Lab Technicians, 7 Special Education Teachers, Certified Librarian, Art Teacher, 3 Reading Resource Teachers,  Music Teacher, Nurse, 11 bus drivers, 9 cafeteria workers, 4 custodians,  3 secretaries, and a host of volunteers.
