Michelle Blackwell is in her 17th year at
South Jones. As a lifelong Brave, Coach Blackwell
took over the reins of the varsity cheerleading squad
in 2010. Blackwell’s presence produced immediate
results. In her first year as coach, the varsity
cheerleaders placed 6th in the state
championships. In 2011, her squad improved with a 5th place finish at state. The future is definitely
bright as Coach Blackwell continues to develop her
cheerleaders into an elite squad. |
