Federal Programs
|
The Jones County School District's Federal Programs Department provides local educational agencies with extra resources to help improve instruction in high-poverty schools and to ensure that poor and minority children have the same oppurtunity as other children to meet challenging State academic standards. All of the elementary (K-6) schools in the Jones County School District are provided with Title I funds. These funds assist our district in meeting the requirements of NCLB (No Child Left Behind)
